1. Determine your niche.

    Often times, finding your focus is a lot easier said than done. You might be passionate about a variety of things, but it’s important to hone in on a specific area where you can confidently speak to and offer value.

    Make a list of areas where you have not only succeeded, but have also genuinely enjoyed. Motivation plays a key role in succeeding as an entrepreneur, and you’re much more likely to stay driven when you’re doing what you love.

        While you should never get too caught up in comparisons, don’t be afraid to do a little healthy “stalking” for some inspiration. The more knowledgeable you are about the ins and outs of succeeding in your business, the easier it will be to grow.

        4. Have a plan – and stick to it.

          Evaluate your goals, and devise a carefully structured schedule to help tackle these tasks and contribute to your overall vision. To-do lists, calendars, and reminders should be your best friends.

          Often times, aspiring entrepreneurs will regard planning as time-consuming, and shrug off its value. The truth is, large businesses are certainly not the only ones who can benefit from the planning process.

          Planning is particularly important during the entrepreneurial journey, due to the increase of uncertainties and obstacles that are bound to arise. By sticking to a plan, you can obtain a better handle on unexpected roadblocks. Plus, planning helps you keep track of progress. It offers a clear vision of where you’re at currently, in comparison to where you strive to be.
